Although "I Sang You Down From The Stars" is a children's book, it is about a Native pregnant parent who is preparing for the birth of their baby by collecting gifts for her baby. This would be a great read for any pregnant person, as well as anyone who is wanting to add to the private library of a child they love.

The official book description says it beautifully: "This unique baby book sings with Native cultural detail, while striking a universal chord in its celebration of the blossoming of love that comes with expecting and welcoming a new baby--with art by New York Times bestselling illustrator and Caldecott Medalist Michaela Goade"
